Up for auction is a very nice 1952 Cadillac Meteor Limousine Hearse. There are approximately 70,000 original miles on the hearse. Everything on the hearse is original except for the following: paint, tires, exhaust and protective tint applied to the windows in the early 1980s. There has only been one other owner besides the orginal funeral director and his family. The hearse has the 331 V8 manual 3-speed trnasmission. The gas tank was dunked and lined in 2007, along with a carburetor rebuild. The hearse runs and drives great and everything is tight and quiet. This hearse is fullly operational and ready for use or show. Tires still have tread like new but will need to be replaced before traveling with it. I found this out when driving the hearse and the rear driver's side tire came apart and damaged the fill tube along with the inner fender. There is no rust to speak of, ther is some slight surface rust in a few places can be detected. This is no doubt one of the finest 1950s Cadillacs that is orginal and available today. This Limousine Hearse has most always been parked inside for its entire life and has been exclusively a Montana vehicle for all 61 years. Vehicle is sold as is, where is. There is no warrenty.
