I am pleased to offer this 1968 Dodge Charger 383 automatic with factory air. Now let’s get down and dirty with this one. I have the original build sheet and data plate for this Charger which will guide you in a correct restoration if that is what you want to do. I would say it will be well worth it. This Charger is very original to the exception of a crappy respray and missing A/C parts. With the basic bad out of the way let’s talk about the good. First of you might scroll down to the undercarriage pictures. What you will see is a very solid car with nearly no rust. You will see what appears to be a new or overhauled torque flyte. The rear end is so clean it would leave me to believe that it too has been all gone through. I noticed some new brake parts so a guess without pulling the wheels they too are gone through. The engine is sound but it does have a nasty cam in it. It sounds great but not original. It does have its original hi rise exhaust headers. Moving on to the exterior, the paint is your typical 10 footer but the lousy respray is not covering up any issues. I ran a magnet over the entire sides and only found some filler on the very bottom of each rear quarter aft of the wheel openings. Looking inside the quarters show no signs of rot. All of the stainless is there. All of the emblems are present. The taillights are my favorite and to me makes the Charger. The bumpers are original and no evidence of any accident damage. All of the glass is good. Correct original wheels I think as I did not check for date coding. I have a correct rallye wheel for the spare with a crap tire but no jack. I will look in my inventory for that. Inside again all original even the carpet which has lost its color over the years. The only add is some rear speakers on the parcel shelf. Well I am already running into a lengthy description so maybe it would be best to email or call with a specific question. As always my reserve is on the mark for this very significant Dodge Charger. I cannot attest to the miles as I have no history on this car but indications are that it could be correct. The previous title simply says miles exempt. Thanks for looking.
