Up for auction is a 2001 Subaru Forester with 139,252 miles. This is a two owner vehicle with a CLEAN carfax (no accidents). It drives very nice with linear acceleration and a smooth shifting automatic transmission. No known issues mechanically with both the engine and the transmission. The suspension rides quite good with no clunkiness or loud rattles. All the electronics check out properly as did the heat and air condition system. Brakes have a decent bite to them and the tires are at about 50% tread remaining.
The interior is in good shape with normal wear to the cloth seating (see pics). The exterior paint is average with the exception a few minor dings and blemishes as can be expected with a twelve year old vehicle. There is a small section of surface corrosion by the passenger side rear wheel. Please inspect the provided pictures for a complete visual analysis. No hidden secrets here, pictures do not lie.
This Forester is a great wagon/SUV for that everyday drive. It’s ready for a new owner to enjoy for many years to come.
