Up for auction is a 2002 Acura RSX Type-S with 155,665 miles. It is a two owner vehicle with a CLEAN Carfax (no accidents). This RSX drives quite smooth with a responsive gas pedal and a smooth shifting manual transmission. The clutch engages smooth at the correct position with no sign of slipping. The suspension checks out normal with no signs of clunkiness or awkward sounds/vibrations on the test drive. The steering is smooth and tight with no slack or mushiness. The brakes grab well with decent pad left and the tires are at about 75% of the tread remaining.
The interior is in average to good shape with normal wear and a few blemishes (tear in the drivers bottom seat cushion) see pics. The heat and AC work properly. The factory stereo has been wired to accommodate an aftermarket subwoofer and amplifier with a pre-installed power cord and pre-amp outputs in the trunk. The exterior paint is very nice with the exception of a few minor dings. The rest of the body is very nice with a few minor blemishes as can be expected with an eleven year old vehicle. PA inspection is good till 03/14. Please inspect the provided pictures for a complete visual analysis. No hidden secrets here, pictures do not lie.
