Up for auction is a 2001 Audi A6 2.7 liter biturbo sedan with 142,383 miles. I’m an Audi enthusiast and gotta say that this A6 is awesome! It’s not often a C5 platform A6 with a manual transmission comes around in such great mechanical and cosmetic condition. One of first things to always look for in the 2.7T engine is the turbos. The turbos in this car spool up nice and smooth and the boost levels via the butt dyno feel on point. The timing belt, water pump, idlers, tensioner all were done on schedule according to prior owner. The motor mounts may need replacing in the next year, feel a little slack in the drivetrain when that massive torque gets delivered in 2nd and 3rd gears. The suspension checks out tight with no signs of clunkiness or awkward sounds/vibrations. The brakes grab hard with plenty of pad left and the tires are like new with 90% of the tread remaining.
The interior is in fantastic shape with little to normal wear (see pics). The heat and AC work properly. The exterior paint is average with the exception of the front bumper cover that needs an easy re-spray. The rest of the body is very nice with the exception a few minor blemishes as can be expected with a twelve year old vehicle. Please inspect the provided pictures for a complete visual analysis. No hidden secrets here, pictures do not lie.
This A6 is a great car for everyday driving and for those special days/nights out. It’s ready for a new owner to enjoy for many years to come
