The Toyota dark grey metallic (155) compliments this vehicle well making it a real head turner. The interior is immaculate, with the original seats, carpet, instrument panel and blemish-free dash (covered since purchase) all in exceptional condition. An extensive history of documentation on dealer maintenance, valve adjusts, oil changes, radiator flushes, bulb changes, tires, batteries, diff/transfer fluid changes etc are included in a binder beginning with the original window sticker. Both available factory original repair manuals are also included along with the original owners manual and original factory radio if you choose to change back to factory stock. All gauges and accessories work as intended with the exception of the power radio antenna. The air conditioner blows cold at all speeds while the heater blows hot the same. All electric windows go up and down smoothly from all controls, and the blemish-free windshield and chrome surround moulding are brand new. Automatic door locks all lock/unlock including the rear door w/the occasional sticking of the tempermental rear passenger lock. Admittedly, the chrome side mirrors serve a bit more "form than function", but I have never been a fan of the cake pan FJ62 side mirrors. The vehicle starts with ease, idles nicely and runs out smoothly shifting without issue. All fluids have been serviced with a seasonal tune up recently completed and neither issues of rust nor rot are evident on the body or frame. After sitting for several days, only one small dime sized oil spot beneath the pan is noticed. This FJ62 recently breezed through an emissions test, and has spent it's entire vehicle life in Boulder County, CO. The matching Michelin tire set have approximately 90+% tread remaining. New front pads and a system check have the vehicle braking straight and true. ** The buyer has the choice of the steel wheels or original chrome wheels upon purchase. Overall, simply an honest LandCruiser FJ62 in exceptional well-over-average condition which will bring the new owner years of proud ownership. I would have no reservations driving this FJ62 to either coast tomorrow, and it is not listed locally -- so it will not disappear prior to the auction ending on Monday. Please review the photos as I feel they are the true representation of the overall condition of the vehicle.
