Up for auction is a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with 177,328 miles. This SUV has a CLEAN carfax (no accidents) but appears to of had a fender bender with the front bumper as the bottom piece is missing. The 3.4L six cylinder engine runs very well and the transmission shifts great. Toyota manufactured an outstanding SUV during this model year. It is a sure footed stable suv that feels great on and off-road. Plenty of power in town with good torque. This model has the reputation of being a rugged like a tank and can easily go over 250k miles with regular maintenance. The brakes grab well and have a decent amount of pad remaining. The tires are at about 75% of tread life remaining.
The interior is very clean with normal wear (see pics). The exterior paint is average with the exception a few minor dings, scratches and blemishes as can be expected with a 15 year old vehicle. As mentioned, the front bumper is one of the only cosmetic parts that the next owner may want to replace. Please inspect the provided pictures for a complete visual analysis. No hidden secrets here, pictures do not lie.
This 4Runner is a great car for that everyday driver with great utility and that world class all-wheel drive system . It’s ready for a new owner to enjoy for many years to come.
