This 2006 Audi A4 2.0T was our commuter car and we are the second owner. We puchased this in 2008 from a dealer when it had 31,000 miles on it. Used for 80 mile daily roundtrips on all highway roads....no stop-and-go traffic. The car is in great shape on the interior with leather power seats, moonroof, ABS and automatic transmission options. The seats have no tears and practically look new. The carpet and mats are in very good condition. The a/c works perfect as well as the am/fm/radio CD changer. Everything else operates properly as well. The exterior of the car is good, however it has three pellet gun dings on the drivers side (2 on drivers door, one on rear driver side door) from the lovely vandals in our neighborhood, (Thank you so much, kids!). They are 1/4 in diameter. There is one small ding from someone's car door and we thank you too, whoever you may be. Along with these dings, the paint has a couple of issues...the clearcoat on the hood is starting to oxidize/fade along with a couple of spots on the upper corner of the passenger side doors. Our pictures show the condition issues. If you have the dings and paint repaired even if it cost $1000, you would still have a great car at a great price! The engine compartment is clean and the car/engine has no leaks and never requires adding oil in-between oil changes which we religiously had done every 3,000 miles (synthetic oil). The only other issue, is with the headlights. An idiot light stays on regarding one of the sensors for the headlights. This headlight system turns to the left and right with your steering wheel, the headlights work fine, and at this point we didn't want to spend the money just to extinguish an idiot light being on. We did have this checked out by our mechanic because as a direct result of the bad sensor on one of the headlamps, it triggers the check engine light as well. This was all verified by our mechanic, and can provide his troubleshooting/diagnosis via his computer/diagnostic testing. Again, everything works as it should, and we can live with the idiot lights. Change the sensor and these indicators will disappear. One other fault, the glovebox has a broken hinge...it closes and opens okay with finesse...this is a very common problem with the Audi's...bad design and it has happened alot. The car starts, runs fine and shifts smoothly with no problems whatsoever. The gas mileage on these models is incredible and at times we were getting between 34-36 mpg on the highway with this one. The tires are Michelin and have plenty of tread remaining. All of the brake shoes were replaced about one year ago and the car stops effortlessly. The tires and battery are relatively newer as well as having the transmission fluid and seal replaced. All in all, this is a great dependable car...after all, it is an Audi. If you have never driven one of these, I have to tell you the Audi's steering and handling capabilties are unequaled. I would love to come into corners with this car as it takes then effortlessly. Fantastic handling is an understatement, even in inclement weather! Very responsive. Tiptronic is fun too; automatic with shifting capability. Rear seats fold nearly flat, one or both at a time. Rooooomy trunk. Sports car handling with big car feel. Other features include Heated Seats, Bluetooth, Homelink, 17 inch wheels and XM Radio capabilties. Nada and Kelly Blue Book value this car in this condition anywhere from $7500.00 to $12,500.00. We bought a new A4 and no longer require this sitting in our driveway. Our opening bid price is extremely low compared to the true value of this automobile. We can say with 99% certainty, that you will not find one of these A4's priced less anywhere! We don't get much snow here on the Eastern Shore, so this car has not seen many snow days where salt is involved on the highways. In our neighborhood, the county actually spreads sand and not salt.
