It's been exposed to minimal water. It's not currently really in the "Running" stage...though I can start her up for you and get her riding around the block if needed. I just need the money to pay the bills, so starting an auction to help me with that. Living off disability and educational loans doesn't go far...ouch! did I say that? lol not currently registered I have even more photos upon request. The Bike needs something I can't figure out. It smokes alot when running normally, just blasts through the oil. It did have a leak at the main plug...it will probably need to be re-threaded at some time. But it's fixed and holding oil with no leak it looks like...haven't tested it out yet. The front brakes need bleeding, as the reservoir has been leaking...caused paint damage to the dented area on the tank. She needs a little work. Probably a top end too. I bought it in un-running condition with two flat tires, I thought it just needed a few things. I was told it had been laid down by his dad when he was going around a corner. The damage didn't look too bad to me, but it was hard enough to dislodge the magnets inside the starter...so that was one of the first things replaced. From that point on, the carbs were cleaned, then ultimately replaced, that didn't get it running, oil was spewing out the exhaust, I took the exhaust off and had it soaked in solvent and blown out. Got the engine running off of starter fluid, then was able to maintain it open throttle with lots of smoke...Eventually I was able to get this guy on the road, but not without some degree of trouble...lots of smoke usually, then had power loss issues...It seems to me the valves being adjusted might help, but I'm not proficient at that. I had the tires replaced, balanced. They have maybe a couple hundred miles on them... I've stopped riding it because the thing smokes WAY too much. Something's not right and I don't have the time or money to put into it. The main suspension adjustment isn't working, so I purchased a replacement but haven't installed it. You can have it. The airbox is missing, I purchased a replacement, but it wouldn't fit, it was for the gs 550 different model. So no airbox included. This could be a really cool bike, I think it needs the topend gone over. There are deals here on Ebay for everything a person would need, and pretty inexpensive too... I will assist in any way within reason, with getting this bike to you. I'll even deliver it within 1000 miles for $.50/mile round trip. Local pickup and inspection is welcomed. Since then I've replaced the Starter, Carbs, Tires, Brakes, Hosing, Cables, OIL, Fuel, Lubricants, Numerous Gaskets, had the crank case Thoroughly solvent cleaned. I went through the exhaust system, actually went through each system carefully, the electrical...visually inspected, cleaned, and lubricated all connections and more. needs work There are a few things left to do on it.
