Rusted Rockers/Transmission Issues (no Reverse)/Strong 350 Engine DESCRIPTION We are selling a 1972 Chevrolet suburban. This is hard to find Chevy suburban at a low price with no reserve. The engine has been rebuilt by the owner prior to me so I really don't have much of a history on it but it starts right up, no smoke, and has plenty of power no knocks, etc. The transmission on the other hand does have issues, there currently is no reverse, forward gears shift fine. The transmission lines were leaking when I got it and we had them replaced but then the reverse wouldn't work any longer. The odometer shows 46,000 miles I have no idea actual miles on the body but I would guess 246K. The rockers are rusted out on all three doors, also rust on the rear barn doors. The entire rear bed has wood bolted to the frame. The floor pan has a lot of rust but very little all the way through that will need to be fixed. This will need new tires as well. The front and back seat are original but the third seat I don't think is original. We will require a $500 non refundable deposit and full payment within 7 days of auction end.
