Thank you! 1972 MG MGB Convertible It is with delight that I can offer this neat chrome bumper 1972 MG Convertible. This example has received a full treatment with new paint, fantastic new leather seat covers and correct door panels. The brakes have been redone, the carbs rebuilt and the distributor overhauled and tuned by a marque specialist. A new top and boot cover complete the package. However not all is rosy. The original floors have been in trouble and are covered with aluminum sheeting. A nice job but not correct. There are some remaining sins on the rocker panels suggesting that all the rust has not been removed. With this said it is still the right car and can be used as an exciting car to drive and even show and on down the road correct what has not been done to factory standards. The paint is very nice for the most part. The bumpers are all new and include the bumper guards which have not been installed. The interior looks great and this MG drives as expected with its robust 1800cc engine with 100 horsepower. The clutch, transmission and brakes are all up to par. Don’t be afraid of this one because chrome bumper MG’s are doing nothing but going up, kind of like our government. I have kept the reserve in the basement so anyone can own this MG.
