Thank you! 1932 CHEVROLET BA CONFEDERATE DELUXE I am pleased to offer this well preserved and extremely original Chevrolet BA Confederate Deluxe 4 Door. I feel like most collectors consider 1932 as the iconic year for most American makes and this Chevrolet is no exception. It is interesting that Chevrolet outsold Ford despite their new V8. I think one of the best features of this Confederate is the “baby Cadillac” front end. This deluxe 4 door has been lovingly maintained or should I say preserved its entire life. Much of the paint appears to be original however I am sure the black fenders have been refinished as they are near perfect. The lines of this Chevrolet are unique for the year as there is a nice jaunty tilt to the windshield and the abundance of chrome to mimic that years Cadillac. The side mount wheels continue the luxury theme. All six of the 18” wire wheels have new tires. Inside is where it gets plush. The Chevrolet has its original dealer installed seat covers that are still in amazing condition. The original upholstery I am certain is as nice as the day they were covered. I have taken a picture of where I carefully pulled up the back cover of the front seat to show you how nice it is. Unique features include three operating window shades for the two quarter windows and one for the backlite. All of the windows go up and down for added ventilation. Also notice the original cardboard protector for the rear foot rail. The dash is beautiful and all of the gauges work. I am sure the front rubber mat has been replaced but the rear carpet is original. This Chevrolet is wonderful to drive with the smoothness of its inline six cylinder engine and it’s all syncro transmission with its freewheeling feature. This Chevrolet is ready to tour and should compete well in a Concours event that has a preservation class. You will never find an original Chevrolet like this or at least I have never seen one this authentic in my 69 years of viewing. This Chevrolet was recently purchased from the original family. Included in the sale will be the owner’s handbook, gas rationing stickers from World War II and many period tools. This is an important car and should be a jewel in any ones collection.
