This is a beautiful 1962 Lincoln continental convertible!!!Sold at no reserve!!!!!I'm selling this car for a friend of mine and I will tell you everything that I know about it. I've worked on it some to try to get the power top working and have some knowledge about the car overall.I believe this car was a rotissorie restoration about 20 years ago and has been ignored for the past several years. As you can see in the pictures the truck deck needs to be replaced and there is some rust popping through on the right rear door. The top is in great shape except for the small area that the bead has come loose. The interior is also in great shape except for the carpet will need to be replaced. Mechanically it runs and drives great wihout any work needed to the drive line. The passenger side has an exhaust leak at the manifold and the heater core needs to be replaced. I bought a new convertible top pump and installed it. I'm not good at electrical problems and could not figure out the complicated wiring on the convertible top. I've gotten all the power windows to go up and down and the power seat relay switch clicks but the seat doesn't move. This car needs someone that knows the electrical system and a good bit a TLC to make it a show car again. I've put several hundred miles on this car and feel it would drive anywhere but without heat it may be a little uncomfortable. Feel free to contact me with any questions at 410-459-8232.
