Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very clean iconic model year 1969 Honda CB350 motorcycle. I purchased this bike to go completely through and convert to a cafe inspired racer with the usual best of intentions. Upon completing casually in my free time, I am now soon moving out of state and some toys must go in lieu of storing. This harder to find model year bike is completely rust free, very clean, and was stored inside by the prior owner who bought it from the original owner as the story goes. Approximately 12,000 original miles were on it before I began to tear it down. It was running very well (besides one carb weeping) before the work began and I certainly did not purchase this bike to later sell. Thus, parts were thrown if I planned on not using them again without regard (seat, bars, fenders...) Tank is quite clean inside without any dents with nice paint (as with the side covers), brand new larger Continental tires, tabs and stands removed on frame, starter rebuilt, carb's rebuilt, some new parts -- some parts still needed. Nothing obviously that couldn't be found on ebay or bike salvage yards. The wiring loom has been cut as I have (and will include) a much cleaner and simple wiring diagram from a local bike builder. You may know these bikes are the best to cut your mechanical teeth on, and have more than enough pep to scream around town with the engineered simplicity of a VW Bug. Overall -- just an honest, clean, hard to find model year '69 CB350 in way above average condition which comes with a title (in previous owners name). A great clean canvas to create your own expression of a cafe inspired racer. *The current state of the bike is as photographed below. Thank you for looking and ask any and all questions you may have prior to placing a bid. Do not assume anything, and I will try my best to answer your questions as quickly and honestly as possible. I do not have this listed locally, so it will not disappear early. Please read deposit instructions following auction closing. Cheap shipping through www.uship.com as I looked for over a year to find the cleanest, best example of a '69 I could find and had it shipped through the website.
