Thank you! 1971 CHEVROLET CORVETTE I am pleased to offer this remarkable 1971 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Coupe with a factory 4 speed. This Corvette was acquired from a Chevrolet dealer’s personnel collection and he has owned this car for many years. First and foremost the body of this Corvette is exceptional. It has show quality paint over a pristine body and does not show any previous damage. The body lines are excellent, better than most St. Louis cars that you see. All of the detail is original. Original bumpers, glass, wheels etc. The Deluxe interior is original and has flaws all of which are evident in the photos. The important thing the interior is original and has not been messed with. Likewise under the hood is the original matching numbers engine and is complete with the original snorkel air filter and ignition wire covers. The headlights work as new, quick up and down. The windshield wiper cover goes up and down equally as well. I have only driven this Corvette a short distance (less than 50 miles) so I cannot say I have done a through shake down but I have not found any glaring problems. All of the brake calipers have been replaced. The tires are obvious replacement ones and the tread is as new. These C3 Corvette 1970-1971-1972 are perhaps the fastest appreciating year for Corvettes and if nothing else are fun to drive. Of course the 4 speed is very desirable and much more valuable than the common automatics. This Corvette is unusual because of the Deluxe interior, removable rear window but no power steering or power brakes. I have included undercarriage pictures which shows a perfect rust free frame.
