Description 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T 1 of only 203 convertibles sold in the US with a 440 Magnum engine and Torqueflite automatic transmission. A true one-owner, this car was sold new at Colony Dodge in Winston-Salem and never relocated. The car was a daily driver from 1970-1973, when Mr. Meyers bought a new Little Red Express Truck. At that time the Coronet was parked in his garage with tags removed; the car sat untouched from 1984 until late March of 2012. The Coronet is F4 lime green metallic with white interior, black top and the rare Stripe Delete option. The 440 Magnum with 375 hp is untouched other than a dual line Holley carburetor and top radiator hose. Interior features ralley gauges with a factory tach and 150mph speedometer. The 727 transmission is equipped with a factory console shifter. The exterior of the car retains 100% of its beautiful, shiny factory paint! There is a palm-sized spot of rust on the right quarter behind the wheel and in front of the left rear wheel, and a small patch in the center of the trunk. The car has the usual scratches and door dings but all in all is an amazing survivor! This is a very rare chance to own an unmolested R/T convertible.
