Vehicle Detail
1964 Riviera with Rebuilt 1963 401 Nailhead engine and Rebuilt Super Turbo 400 Transmission. All new Black and Gray interior including new Headliner, Package Tray and New 80/20 Original style Loop Carpet with New Door Sills, etc. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows. The car was lowered with lowering springs and rides great. MANY new parts including new Tail light bezels and lenses, Power Brake and Park Brake rubber pads, etc. It has an Alpine digital radio with CD and MP3 in the glove compartment. At great expense all the weather stripping has been replaced including door seal rubber, roof seal rubber, all window felt and Vent window and Rear window rubber. The factory Air Conditioning was not reinstalled when the new engine was replaced but I have all the pieces for the Air Conditioning. It is a Power Seat car although the power seat is not hooked up. New tires on New Unique "Supreme" wheels. The trunk is custom carpeted. It starts quick, sounds great with glasspack mufflers, and has a pant load of power! All exterior stainless trim has been removed and all the holes professionally welded up. Alot of work but gives the car a great look! Now the not so good. It is Gloss Black, now any one that knows about painting cars knows that Gloss Black is very unforgiving as far as showing any flaws in the preperation of the body for paint. This car was not prepaired properly for the Gloss Black paint. It has a few, not alot, small 1/8 inch bubbles where the paint is lifting. Maybe ten or so. There are a couple a slight dings. There is a slight buckle in the center of the hood. If the car was stripped and done right it would be a $25,000 car easy! I'm a perfectionist and these things bug the heck out of me, but most people don't notice them even when I point them out! A GREAT CAR AND ONE OF DETROITS GREATEST DESIGNS! The Buy It Now price is about $5,000 less than I have into it not counting my labor. You cannot find a first series Riviera of this restored quality at anything close to this money, EVER! Plus I can deliver it for gas money.
