This is a 1973 Super Beetle which was last on the road more than 25 years ago. It has remained garaged since then and from what I can see there was a rust issue on the drivers side sill and floor. The other side is good. The vehicle is from a deceased estate of which I have the title signed by the estate administrator and a copy of the supporting affidavit. I also have the owners receipt of purchase which is dated 1975 so probably only 2 owners making the 68k miles pretty believable. I know nothing more about the car although it looks very solid and restorable apart from the drivers side floor/sill. There is a brand new set of white wall tyres included. I unfortunately don't have the ignition key. Collection from Astoria Queens New York.On Nov-13-12 at 09:48:52 PST, seller added the following information: Please note that the tyres don't fit this vehicle as kindly pointed out by "bugcity". They are 13's and the Beetle's are 15's. I see from previous records that the owner had an Austin car at some stage and these probably were from that vehicle. Please beware that the tyres will not go with this vehicle auction.
