1963 Austin Healey 3000 BJ-7 Barn Find being sold at NO RESERVE. This is a 95% complete Austin Healey recently removed from prolonged indoor storage due to a property sale and must be sold. The BJ-7 model Healey was the first big Healey equipped with roll up windows.This particular car was originally finished in the highly desirable Ice Blue Metallic with blue interior. The head on the cars engine was rebuilt a decade or so ago but was not made roadworthy at that time. The engine turns freely and would probably run with little effort, although no attempt has been made to do so. The body is fairly straight but suffers from significant rust typically found in unrestored Healeys such as main floors, fender bottoms, sills and outriggers, as well as a section of the LH main frame rail as pictured. The car will require a complete restoration of all operating systems to be roadworthy. Other than some of the interior upholstery pieces, the car is complete and not disassembled. The car will roll and be able to be trailered or transported. All logistics in connection with the transport of the car is the sole responsibility of the buyer, although I can arrange local transport at the buyers expense to a shipping facility. The car is being sold at no reserve with the successful buyer required to pay a $2000 deposit within 48 hours of auction end, and the balance in full by bank transfer, cashiers check or Paypal within 7 days.
