Thank you! 1966 DODGE CHARGER I am pleased to offer this mostly original 1966 Dodge Charger. Needless to say the big question is how much rust. Well I am happy to say in this particular case very little. I have provided many detailed pictures to hopefully correctly represent what a nice car this Charger is and what great potential there is. Of course the most desirable modification would be to drop a 426 or larger Hemi in it but the current big block 318 gets it down the road. The body condition is very nice. I believe this Charger was originally silver and changed to black. The black paint is a great 10 footer but close examination will show faults. The hood shows flaws, the trunk lid shows small bubbles in each lower corner. There was a large scratch on the left side that has been touched up. There are two bubbles on the top right fender and one tiny one on the rocker. Under the hood you will find an amateur detail prior to my acquisition. It appears there is a bubble on the top of the right shock tower. You will see how nice the trunk is and that is the original Goodyear spare tire. Inside is original and clean. The flaws that exist can be seen in the pictures. The undercarriage is exceptional in my opinion so this car has great bones if one wants to go all the way. The car drives like a mid-sixties car so do not have great expectations. The brakes work great. The transmission has a hesitation into third gear but lessened every time I drove the car. This Charger has been sitting for a long time. The tires have decent tread but show weather or age cracks. If you are any distance I would ship it. By the way the jack, lug iron etc. are all with the car and the spare has plenty of 1966 air in it. One last thing the hideaway headlamps do not function as well as the hood cable. Everything seems to be intact for the lights, so a faulty switch who knows. The hood can be opened from the outside. As always if you have any question just ask.
