Thank you! 1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE V8 PONY I am pleased to offer this very seductive 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible equipped with a 289 V8 4 bb, 4 speed transmission and the Pony interior. This Mustang underwent a major restoration some years ago but was never finished until recently. The former owner lost interest and sold the vehicle to be completed by a specialist and the result is beautiful. The list of new parts is awesome and it can best be said that if it bolts on it is new. The Poppy red finish is the original color and looks wonderful and accurate. The bumpers are new as is most of the exterior trim including tail lamps, gas cap, rocker panel moldings, side trim and more. The Convertible top is newer as is the boot cover. Inside you will find the parchment and black Pony interior all new with a beautiful dash, wood steering wheel, working sound system and no cut panels. It is simply awesome inside. The under hood detail is excellent with the proper Mustang accessories. This Mustang has power steering to aid your driving comfort. The power train has been dialed in as it starts with a twist of the key and has ample power. The transmission shifts with ease and to say it is fun is an understatement. The trunk is finished off correctly. I have provided undercarriage pictures so you can see some of the replaced parts and solid understructure. Oh by the way look how beautiful the inner fenders are and superb shock towers. You can still see the original VIN number stamping and all of the original factory spot welds. Well there it is folks you will not find a more eye popping Mustang than this one and it is an early one which makes it that more desirable. As always email or call if you have any questions.
