Thank you! 1955DODGE CUSTOM ROYAL LANCER 2DR HT HEMI I am pleased to offer this 1955 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 2 door Hardtop with a Hemi V8 and only 73000 original miles. This Lancer is of course Dodge’s top of the line offering for 1955 and what a significant car this is. This Dodge appears to be mostly unrestored and is a truly wonderful example of a Virgil Exner design. The former owner had this car for close to fifteen years and has maintained it to perfection. Along with the spectacular tri-color paint scheme this Dodge is equipped with the very rare 270 cubic inch Hemi V8. Other options include power steering, power brakes and the powerflyte automatic transmission. The body condition is superb with barely a blemish. I found a couple of bubbles on the left front fender and a one inch scratch on the right fender. The paint quality is excellent with no rust showing and no rust to be found on the undercarriage. All of the chrome is still bright however there is some pitting on the pot metal pieces. The stainless is unbelievable. All of the glass is as new. Inside is breathtaking. The door panels look as good as when it left the factory. The seats are free of any stains, cuts or broken seams. I am not sure if the carpet is original but it is of high quality. The dash is amazing with all of its embellishments. Under the hood is that magnificent 270 cubic inch Hemi V8. The super Red Ram Hemi V8 option makes this Custom Royal Lance very rare indeed. I promise you this is a wonderful driving car and one that has been properly maintained. When you open the trunk you will find a period correct white wall tire and the proper tools.
