Up for auction is a rare 1948 Ford Super Deluxe 8 Series 89A Convertible Club Coupe,selling for a friend who's husband recently passed away,he was an avid car collector this was one of his many classic car projects.He has been the owner and it has been in a shop for the last 20 years was not kept outside while he owned it.As far as I can tell all numbers match with the title so I believe it to be an all original car.The car has been partially dismantled needs complete restoration.Engine turns over by hand but not sure if it will run as its been sitting for 20 years.For the most part car is very solid for the year,the driverside running board has fallen off due to rust and partial rust of the floorboard as seen in pictures.There are some replacement panels that will be included in the auction.The car is probably 95 percent complete including original radio.While taking pictures we found all trim pieces,beauty rings,replacement glass for rightside vent window all other glass is intact and in good shape.We found a new rubber floor mat,new bumper .
