Thank you! 1972 BMW BAVARIA 3.0 S I am pleased to offer this 1972 BMW Bavaria 3.0 S Sedan. This BMW is just a two owner car with the second owner having it since the early 2000’s. As you can see from the pictures this Bavaria is stunning. This is a true black on black car with newer paint but original interior. The body shows just a couple of bubbles some on the right rear quarter panel at the wheel opening down low and some bubbles on the right doors. I have done my best to picture this. The miles showing are 57000 however some time during the original ownership a cable or gear broke and was replaced so the correct miles are unknown. The second owner has only driven the car approximately 5000 miles since taking possession and it has always been garaged. The only other fault is the front and rear bumpers that are original will need to be replated to be in show condition. All of the glass is excellent and the overall detail on the outside is very nice. Please pay particular attention to the lights and lenses as they are excellent. Only the tail light lenses show some flaws but I would not replace them unless they become available at a very favorable price. The interior is what is so remarkable. The front bucket seats are near perfect as is the rear seat. The door panels are as new even the map pockets work correctly. The headliner is beautiful and the carpet is just amazing for its age. The only fault is some cracks in the dash. All of the gauges function as does the original Blaupunkt radio. This BMW has air conditioning but will need to be serviced to be cold. I was told it functioned fine until one could no longer get R12 (Freon) refrigerant and he did not want to convert it to R134. Mechanically this BMW tops them all. The engine was completely redone including a crank shaft upgrade from BMW. All the work was performed at a BMW dealership for the original owner. The transmission shifts correctly with no syncro issues. An electric fuel pump has been added as well as the original fuel pump being retained. The electric pump assist after prolong storage. Please note such nice details as the original tool kit also the jack and tools are with the spare tire. The original books will be included in the sale. As always I will be happy to answer any questions. The former owner is older and sometimes hard to reach but I will do my best to pass on any additional info you might need. Yes you can drive this BMW home as the tires are excellent and the service is current. The reserve is very modest. Thanks for looking.
