Barn Fresh - A True Kentucky Barn Find! 1949 BUICK SEDANETTE 2 DOOR FAST BACK Up for auction is a 1949 Buick Sedanette Two Door Fast Back. This is a true Kentucky Barn Find that has been it storage for over 30 years. The interior of the car is complete. Dash is in excellent condition including all gauges and trim. The original steering wheel is in excellent condition as well. Both front and rear seats are in nice condition and will need very little work before recovering - or leave as is for a vintage original look. All stainless around the windshield, side glass, and rear glass is in excellent condition. Glass is in excellent condition and windows roll up and down nicely. Grill is complete and ready to be re-chromed. Front bumper is intact, but I do not have the rear bumper. The hood is in excellent condition and has been repainted at some point. You could wax the hood and be ready for the local car show - it is NICE! Firewall is solid and rust free. The car is less engine, but transmission is still in place. The doors open and close very nicely. The door jambs are solid and rust free. There are a few rust holes in the floors - in the front kick pan on the driver's side and in the trunk. The car will need full floor pans and a trunk pan. The driver's side rear fender has been patched at some point, but the car does have an extra fender with it. The extra fender can be used to repair the fender that is currently on the car. The fender skirts are with the car and in great shape! The body is solid for a 63 year old car. It will probably need rocker panels - they appear to be thin, but are not rusted through. I have 62 images of the car uplaoded to PhotoBucket that show everything pretty well. They can be seen at: http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q268/laff4tmotorsports/1949%20Buick/ I would prefer to sell the car outright, but may consider trades. Please messages me for any trade offers. www.uship.com is an excellent source for shipping quotes. I have used this service several times with good results. This car is being sold with a notarized bill of sale. The VIN is clear and will be no trouble to title. Thank you for looking and happy bidding!!!
