Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1966 Ford Mustang, 2 door coupe. This was my husband's first car and he had hoped to restore it to original but we do not have the time or the money to do so. She is a project car and will require a full restoration but we do have a clear title. She has a straight 6 engine with a manual transmission. It has not been started in over 3 years but my husband says it will probably start if you put a battery in it and some fresh gas. The drive shaft is gone (has been removed). All of the fenders have some kind of rust and/or damage, some worse then others. The hood has a small dent. All of the seats have been removed and the floor pans have rusted through. The dash, door panels, and steering wheel are in fair condition (considering age) but the carpet is dry-rot and has fallen apart. All glass is in tact but may be cloudy due to age. All of the trim is there (we think) but has rust or is pitted. Both bumpers are still attached, as are the headlight buckets, tail-lights, and grill. The tires are flat but have probably dry rotted as well. We do not know the actual mileage since we are not the original owners and there are only 5 digits in the odometer. She will need a flatbed tow truck to get her to her new home. I won't lie to you, the car has seen better days but in the right hands she can be fast and beautiful once again. I have tried to take pictures of everything and from several different angles. If there is something specific you would like a picture of, just email me and I will try to get it for you. I have not taken any pictures of the underneath but you can assume there is rust there as well since the floor boards are gone. I will include some Mustang parts catalogs for the new owner to get you started in the right direction. Pick-up is the responsibility of the buyer. A deposit of $100.00 is required within 48 hours of auction end. Balance due within 7 days. Please feel free to ask any questions.
