As eBay says, a single picture is worth a thousand words. eBay strongly recommends the best practice of providing as many photos as possible and letting the photos do the talking, rather than trying to describe in words what can be seen in a photo or trying to recreate in words what already is in provided photos. That said, I will still gave you my impression of the Porsche's characteristics above as a secondary analysis. I have been registered on eBay nearly 13 years and have 100% positive feedback. If your impression of a picture/video differs from what I've written or said, then your own opinion should govern your conclusion. Any questions, message me through the eBay messaging system, which eBay indicates is always the preferred method of communication. I will usually answer within 24 hours. I wish the new owner of this excellent 36 year old car unlimited and unending happiness with his or her new acquisition, and hope it goes to someone who appreciates it all. AUCTION RULES: Full payment is due within within 7 calendar days of auction ending by either cash in-person to be transacted at a bank during banking hours or bank wire transfer only. (Once you receive a fraudulent cashier's check from a buyer, you'll never accept another one either!) If you insist on using a check, the check may only be drawn from a bank with a South Florida branch and it will be made out to your name where you will then convert it into cash in front of me or my representative before paying. If you don't do this you'll have to wait a minimum of 6 weeks for the check to fully clear and you will incur unavoidable storage charges. If you pay by cash, I will meet you in a local branch to accept the cash and it will be deposited immediately and obviously the bank teller will check each currency note for legitimacy. I will not deviate from these rules. The trunk perlon felt as pictured is not included. The one you see pictured cost $65 new, or you can spend much more on one as you like. Trunk liners are a personal preference, and it's better for you to pick the one you like. Pickup is also due within 14 calendar days, and may not occur until funds have cleared. Storage for the first 14 days is 100% FREE. There is a storage charge of $350/week beyond 14 days, and is limited to 2 extra weeks (for a total of 4 weeks of storage). If you want to avoid these storage fees but can't pick up the car for months, I can set you up with a public storage unit under your name, put the car in there and FedEx you the keys, title, etc., as long as you have paid in advance. You must read the entire auction description, follow the rules, and study each picture and video fully. Any inspections must occur prior to the auction end. I sell, ever, as a matter of personal philosophy -- this Porsche is As Is with no warranty. You get the Porsche as pictured, captured in the videos, and described, a clean a clear title, a Bill of Sale and copy of my Driver's License if you wish, the front plate as pictured, the rear plate as pictured, and if their inclusion is indicated in the description or pictures: records, books, documentation, brochures, etc., and at least 2 keys. The following slideshow automatically displays the first 100 of the approximately 570 available pictures in this album. To view the remainder of them, and to be able to zoom in, etc., right-click near the bottom of slideshow window where it says "View all" and select "Open in new window" or "Open in new tab." That will keep this auction page open while you are viewing the pictures in a separate web browser window or tab: The following movies demonstrate this Porsche for you... I have absolutely no idea why the first video looks less sharp than it normally would. However, the point of the video is not high-resolution (that is the point of the photographs) but rather to show you sounds of the car doors opening and closing, hood/trunk operation, other accessory/feature operation, general feel of the car, and to gain walk around perspective to get a sense of, for example, very nice body component alignment. On Jul-12-12 at 13:21:39 PDT, seller added the following information: A few people have asked why the engine was disassembled, or what's wrong with it. I can convey to you what the previous owner said a long time ago. He said he was driving and noticed the oil pressure indicator gauge was abnormally low. He then pulled over to the side of the road, immediately turned off the engine, and called a tow truck. The tow truck brought he car to an independent Porsche mechanic, who then determined the oil pump was faulty and the cause of the low pressure reading but no damage was done to the engine because the engine was turned off so quickly after the pump malfunctioned. The owner then took that opportunity to have the mechanic rebuild the entire engine. While the mechanic had the car, the mechanic went out of business, however, the previous owner was able to retrieve his engine and car.. On Jul-12-12 at 19:44:35 PDT, seller added the following information: A clarification: When I wrote, "the owner then took that opportunity to have the mechanic rebuild the entire engine" it doesn't mean a partial or entire rebuild was necessarily accomplished while the mechanic had the car and before the mechanic went out of business. It's not clear what, if anything, was accomplished other than diagnosing the problem and disassembling the engine. On Jul-15-12 at 23:14:01 PDT, seller added the following information: This auction also includes the following bonus items: 911 Owner's and Workshop Manual 1974-1977 (new and unopened)Authorized Porsche Dealer Brochure from '75, "There is No Substitute"Advertisement for 1976 Porsche 911S
