1976 BMW 2002 Original California Car, 4 speed, sunroof, a/c. All numbers match, runs great, no synchro grind, no smoke, no leaks. Original California blue plates, completely solid undercarriage, frame, rockers, doors, shock towers, etc. The only rust is a small area below the driver’s headlight, and some small spots near the passenger side windows, just below the trim. Original Jade Green paint, so of course there’s various paint blemishes and scratches, and a few minor dents. Overall a very straight and solid California car, see photos below. Working manual sunroof, no leaks. Service folder with receipts totaling over $14000. in the last 9 years, including a total rebuild of the original engine in 2006, less than 10K miles ago. Original except: Weber carb, BBS 14” basketweave alloys with Yokohama radials, and Kenmore CD Radio with remote in glove box. There is a small tear in the passenger’s seat, some cracks on the dash pad, and the speedometer needle swings wildly and is unreliable. Vehicle is currently in Clearwater, Florida and has a Clean California title, current CA tags (July 2012) and smog certification (1/31/12 Will ship anywhere, for cost, at buyer’s expense.
