Up for sale, 1968 Galaxie two door fastback, this car has been in my family since 1982, I was going to save it for one of my girls but physical limitations forces me to sell it. As you can see from the picture most of the upper paint has been burned off by the Arizona sun, it has also burned up most of the interior, but being an Arizona car it's has very little rust, the floors are solid, about the only rust I could see are in front of the rear wheel openings, I have posted a picture of this rust, the body is basically straight, the hood came up at one point and damaged the corners slightly, the glass is all good except for the windshield, there are no front seats, this car didn't come as an XL, the consul and bucket seat were added later, shifter consul is complete and in good condition, the original back seat is still there, the dash is sun burnt like the rest of the interior, most of the instrument panel is intact, my brother cut the original radio opening at one point. It has the remains of a small block in it right now, just a short block which is dead, the radiator is there and a transmission, not sure which one though, but plan on installing both, big block would be my option. The car is located in Fredonia AZ, which is all the on the northern border 7 miles from Utah, 7 hours north Phoenix AZ, 3 hours east Las Vegas NV, 7 hours south of SLC UT. I will load at my end, I have tires that I can put on it so it will roll, the wide rims in the back and front rims don't go with the car. This car does NOT have front disc brakes or air conditioning. You will have two months from the date of purchase to move the vehicle, at which point I will charge a monthly storage fee of $50 a month. On Apr-15-12 at 16:18:38 PDT, seller added the following information: While taking pictures of the car today I found the owner manual and warranty and safety booklets! All will go with the car,I don't have an ignition key but I was able to get a trunk key made from the glove box lock. Thanks.
