Vehicle Detail
The Valiant is located in Harpers Ferry WV. It is at a detail shop being detailed for the future owner. The Rust Spots will be photographed today, as well as a shot of it underneath, from the ground I do not have lift. All of the floors, trunk and frame are in great shape, no structural issues at all, it was undercoated and does not have anything more than surface rust. The original color is blue from what I can tell. Thanks and I hope this answers your questions. Nice 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet. 273 V8, Automatic, power steering, electric top (does work) AM Radio does not work. The VIN number calls it a 65 Valiant Signet/Baracuda. Older restore on her, new brakes, exhaust, 2 chamber flowmaster, electronic ignition, low miles, cruise anywhere. New 4 barrel, new offenhauser manifold, new shocks. Tires are good but not matched...might look good w/wide whites or redlines! Pretty new carpet. It does come with a bunch of paper work & w/her original manifold, air cleaner & valve covers as well if you want it back to stock. She does have some rust bubbles, not perfect but 100% and real fun. If you want it super nice just sand and do a repaint...and go to some shows. Reserve is just over a reasonable $6000 yeah I know, the more I drive it the more I wanna keep her...oh yeah it will cruise all day at 85 to 90 likes just plain deluted anti-freeze, oil pressure spot on, no leaks, if I were planning a trip to The Keys I would get the tranny oils drained, repack the grease everywhere including the rear gear box...might as well make here perfect...she starts everytime. Oil changed every few week for grins, set the gas air low and let her go, when she hits over a hundred I just put her in neutral, top down kinda feels like you are in a plane...sorry folks no seatbelts on this one. Out of 1 to 10 its a 6.99. Not a show car, just a nice driver, here is some addtional info, couple small tears in the fabric top, small 2 ont the rear boot. all easy fixes..the frame is solid, there is some pitting in the chrome rear lights, door handles, bumper kinda bent like when I got her..but no major smash up with this one, the rear in front of the fender has some rust, The hood has some cracks in the bondo, yes bondo was used in 08, like I said re-paint it and cruise, not at all unsafe its an original pony frame ( few weeks before The Mustang). I do have a full set of bushings for her since they have never been replaced, I did run a 2" pipe from the 2 chamber flowmaster into one "like it originally had" it does sound like a small block mustang. Its a driver and is worth more than I have it at, I took her to The Carlyle Auto Auction in 08 and my reserve was $8500 it was bid to $8250 so I drove it home its just a fun little car, my youngest daughter is getting married need some cash. Shipping is all on you, I can meet your carrier, or you may drive it home to The West Coast or anywhere in The USA, but YOU GET IT ALL PAID FOR TO MAKE HER READY FOR THE TRIP TO CALIFORNIA or where ever, or bring your tools and you do it for any 1500 mile trek or longer HEY ITS A 65!
