I purchased this car off ebay a couple months ago and got burned sent guy check had car trailered home and the seller flat out lied to me about the car well my loss wont happen again I didnt want a project car I wanted a car I could drive so here it is. The car is a 76 cutlass with a olds 455 big block motor, the motor runs but has engine noise(The other seller said it just needs tune up) The noise sounds to be on the pass side maybe a rod bearing or maybe a wrist pin or could be just carbin dont know. I have driven the car and the cars transmission shifts good and the rear end sounds good, and the brakes are good. The interior is very nice for its age has new carpet and I would take to a car show with this interior very good shape but does have one small crack in dash near speaker. Now for the body the guy i got the car from said it was rust free ha ha ha NO WAY So the car does have rust it has been repainted and has had bondo on rear quarters, and rust is starting to show up again around back window and back fenders. Also the floors are gone big patches up drivers floor board. I know Im going to loose alot of money but like I said I didnt want a project car and that is what this car is. If you have a body shop this would be a easier fix bu I dont I have a repair shop the motor didnt scare me but the rest did. The car is still worth something due to the bid block motor and the cars are just not around anymore.
