Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a good running 1973 Honda Scrambler CL125S motorcycle. No title, selling for off road use. Mfg. date on frame is 7/72 and it's a first year S0 1973 model. Honda only made this bike for 2 years in 1973 S0 & 1974 S1. The mileage is 10,444 and may go up just by a few more, as it's alot fun to ride & I may putt around on it just a little more before the listing ends. It starts easy, runs well and is ready-to-ride just as it sits, or it would be good for an easy restoration. All of the lights and horn are working fine. It has a recently new 6V battery, new air filter & fresh engine oil change, new aftermarket headlight glass with small replacable bulb instead of the very expensive old style sealed beam. This costs alot less and is easier to find if you ever need to replace it in the future, but for now the headlight bulb is brand new. The left side cover is a nice aftermarket reproduction that was used to replace the long lost original battery cover. The bike does ride & run very well and is ready for someone to enjoy. The fuel tank is pretty clean inside and solid, but does have an expoxy repair on the outer underside where there were just a couple very small pin holes. These were very tiny and it was still solid even right at and around the pinholes. It was blasted clean, expoxied in 2 good layers, touched up pretty well with paint and is not even noticed at all on the bike, but I still wanted you to know about it. This was done awhile back and does not leak at all. The exhaust pipe also had a small hole at the back of the muffler that was repaired. Otherwise the rest of the exhaust was still in great shape with no dents or heavy rust. It was a simple fix, done easy and the entire pipe has been repainted with hi-temp satin black like oem. It's solid now and looks good, but I also wanted you to be aware of it. This would make someone a great camp or woods bike, or it would be an easy restoration for anyone into vintage motorcycles. Please ask any questions, and I'll be glad to answer the best I can. Everything included as pictured.
