Hello, and thank you for looking at the non-smoker, adult owned, dealer maintained 2004 BMW M3 coupe that is for sale! It is a rare color, Carbonschwarz Metallic, which looks different based on the type of light present. It is actually a dark metallic blue, but sometimes it looks black. It is a beautiful car that is a real head-turner with over $6,000.00 in upgrades already professionally installed on it. However, I’m not going to lie and say it’s perfect because it’s not! I have taken many road trips in this car from Ohio to Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, and now it is at my home in Florida. Most of the miles have been on the freeway. So, needless to say, there are some stone chips in the front bumper (I have touch-up paint and will take care of these) and a couple door dings which the dent wizard should be able to get out. And now for a word of advise: don't let anyone borrow your car! I let someone use my car to go to the bank and while leaving the auto-teller they rubbed up against the curb and scratched the lower trim below the door. This incident also ended with some small sections of curb rash on the new rims and small chunks of rubber taken out of the the new tires. None of this is really noticeable. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Also, I still drive this, so the mileage will be a little higher by the time the auction ends. The interior is very good but there are some flaws—scratches at the top of the driver’s door plastic, some small dents in the metal trim on the interior door handles, and some insignificant scratches in the leather seats. Mechanically the car is sound, and everything works as expected. It is a real handling and acceleration beast with the Bilstein suspension and Eisenmann exhaust! The clutch is good, the 6-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and the engine starts and runs beautifully. The oil and filter were just changed which is $170.00 at the BMW stealership haha. I also recently had the cam gear bolts changed and the exhaust cam VANOS hub changed which are known problems of the E46 M3 S54 engine. In addition, the water pump and fan clutch were also replaced. It was over $3,000.00 for all of this, and now you don't have to worry about it!So, that’s all I can think of right now. I will add more later if I remember something else.
