Chevrolet : Camaro California car, 4-speed muncie, Willwood disc brakes UP FOR SALE IS 1968 CHEVROLET CAMARO. This car is a small-block, 4-speed California car. We brought it to Maryland, where a lot of money has been put into this beautiful car. The hard work is all done but unfortunately time constraints keep us from enjoying the car. Body California car with new cowl induction hood, new valance panel, new header panel, new tail panel, new '67 (side-marker free) RS fenders and quarter panels. Body work professionally done at Body by Pete. New door hinges. New door strikes. New bumpers (front not installed). New door handles. New locks. New tail light bezels. New SS gas gap. New SS grill emblem. New mirror. Also comes with new billet RS Grill and manual (non-powered) headlight covers. Paint Car was stripped to bare metal with paint, trim and glass removed. It was painted wet black at College Park. Less then 10 miles driven since it was painted. The paint looks spectacular, though it is not faultless. Drive train Drive train is as it was when we bought the car, with the exception of a new Edelbrock Performer carburetor. It's a strong-running Small Block V8. 4-speed manual Muncie transmission (whines when your foot is off the clutch) with after market shifter. Unknown differential. Great sounding Dual Exhaust system. Suspension New front Polyurethane bushings. New heavy Duty front springs with adjustable spring perches. New Heavy Duty front anti-sway bar. New KYB shocks all around. New ball joints. Less then 10 miles driven since it was completed. Steering New modern (police package) Quick-Ratio power steering box. New steering column joint. New inner tie-rods. New outer tie rods. New steering linkage. New billet tie rod adjusters. After market sport steering wheel. Less then 10 miles driven since it was completed. Brakes Anything we could think of that touches brake fluid has been replaced. New 4-piston Wilwood front calipers. New 2-piece Wilwood Rotors. New Wilwood brake pads. New rear wheel cylinders and hardware. New hard brake lines. New stainless braided flex lines. New distribution block. New master cylinder. New Parking Brake cable. Less then 10 miles driven since it was completed. Wheels + Tires New SLP 17” x 8” ZR1 aluminum wheels. New Toyo Proxes T1-S 245/45-ZR17 tires. New lug nuts. Less then 10 miles driven on the wheels and tires. Interior Interior was done before we bought the car. It is black vinyl with buckets. We added new weather-stripping. New Sun tach. New heater core. New sail panels. New ball vents. New glove box. New pedal pads. New 3-point retractable front seat belts (un-installed). New rear lap belts (un-installed). Also comes with an un-installed center console. What It Needs If we were to keep the car we would get: Brake bias adjuster, battery hold-down, the reverse lights fixed, a new coolant overflow bottle and a tune-up. There are no visors or dome light installed, as we really did not care for either. When refueling there was a fuel drip, we have yet to investigate the source. This list is not conclusive because we never really got to use the car, so it may have other issues that we have yet to notice or experience, but read the ad one more time and you'll realize there isn't much more that it could possibly need.
