Vehicle Detail
Own a piece of American History!! Manufactured by Cadillac in 1979 purchased by Armbuster Stageway and stretched to an "airport limo". Original phaeton trim, blue with black vinyl top, 6 doors great inside and out. Solid, couple paint chips and 3 places show a spot of surface rust. If you search AuSable River Art & sawmill on Facebook you will able to view entire photo album of car (50 photos inside and out picturing every imperfection and asset). Ebay new link policy prohibits me to put the link in my listing. You may ask under listing for direct link. Rear air shocks Rear heat/ac Only thing that does not work is the power antenna This car starts up and runs, shifts and drives sweet, nice and quiet no noises This car was in service to Bague & Sons mortuary in L.A. California until 2003. Never seen a Michigan Road in the winter. I have original registration. It was used to pick up people from the airport and in funeral processions. I am the 3rd owner!! Yes Miles are original!! Not 160,000!! The Vinyl Top center seam needs to be re-stitched, I was quoted $300 to fix it, vinyl is still good. We taped center seam as temporary fix to keep water out. An ashtray cover on back passenger side is broke, but still in place (it is the spring). 2 pieces of wood grain trim on both 2nd door handles are off but I am pretty sure I have them somewhere. The back bumper on fins has a crack on each side...you can see all the minor flaws this car has in my photo album on facebook. I have 50 pictures with detailed description. Interior is very clean. It could use a shampoo but upholstery is all in tact and been very well cared for. This car runs and drives sweet!! 472 motor 4 barrel carb gets 10-12 mpg no matter where or how you drive (city highway uphill downhill) Used this car for a couple shows, woodward dream cruise a couple long haul road trips and concerts only. The brakes go to the floor when you first start it up, once you drive it down the road and pump them up they work fine, that would be the only mechanical issue with the car. Tires have good tread but passenger front does not hold air when parked for long. Pretty sure it a bead leak or stem may need replaced. With that said, I would recommend new tires because it sits more than it is drove. Was garage kept until 2009. We cover it for the winter. I have never drove it in salt or snow. It is with heavy heart I have decided to sell this car, but it is only drove 3-4 times a year. Another excellent part about this car is it holds original deville registration and title, no commercial insurance or expensive registration fees!! We insure it as a classic through Hagerty, no mileage limits only $300 per year!! Appraisal was $12,000 in 2009. Insured for $8,000. Only a couple cars manufactured by armbruster stageway that match this...you can be one of the few. Google 1979 Cadillac Armbruster Stageway :) Please call 810-356-8352 to set up a time to view it. Ebay offers shipping quotes. Payment accepted Cashiers Check or Cash!! $200 deposit within 48 hours Balance due in 7 days. This is a private listing, you will remain anonymous !! UPDATE: we started this car up and took it for a spin around the block 12-26-11, the line to transmission cooler is leaking. I took pictures of the leak and posted them in my album on Ausable River Art & Sawmill on Facebook...if you need direct link please ask and I will send it to you. We also put fix a flat in the tire that goes low and it is holding air now. We Reduced the price due to the leak in line to transmission cooler. This is an easy fix, however I am not inclined to do so myself at this time.
