1969 GMC CUSTOM SWB PICK-UP. 3 SPEED IN-LINE 6. . TRUCK BELONGED TO MY GRANDFATHER. HAS NOT BEEN TAGGED OR DRIVEN MUCH SINCE 1990. STILL RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD. ALL GLASS GOOD. TIRES GOOD.ALWAYS KEPT UNDER A ROOF. THE ONLY THING I'VE FOUND THAT DOESN'T WORK IS THE FUEL GAGE. I THINK HE BOUGHT THIS TRUCK NEW, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER FOR SURE. OVER THE YEARS AFTER HIS EYESIGHT GOT POOR HE GOT A DENT OR TWO IN THE BED AND CHANGED IT, THEN DENTED THE NEW ONE ALSO.....I ALSO STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL BED. SOMEONE WATCHING THIS TRUCK ON EBAY HAS CALLED ME AND SAID THEY THINK IT IS A 1967 OR 1968. I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW . I HAVE THE OWNERS MANUAL WHICH DOES NOT HAVE SPECIFIC YEAR IT COVERS 1967 TO 1972. I HAVE TRIED VIN DECODER ONLINE WITHOUT SUCCESS. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE LMC A WEBSITE FOR ANTIQUE RESTORATION, THEY WERE ALSO UNABLE TO SAY FOR SURE, BUT THEY THINK IT IS A 1967. JUST WANT TO BE UP FRONT ABOUT THIS. THESE TRUCKS DID NOT HAVE TITLES, SO NO HELP THERE.On Dec-16-11 at 07:24:50 PST, seller added the following information: i have had an email from someone with some interesting info about what model this truck is.hope this is helpful.your truck is a 1967, thats the only year that the gmc letters are in the grill, also the only year for the custom emblems on the fenders, and the only year that there are no marker lights in the fenders. looks like the passenger bedside has been replaced with a 68-72 type
