Here we have a 1970 Ford Torino wagon. As you can see from the pictures, this wagon is as solid and complete as they come with only 108,000 miles on it. The car features Fords 351 Cleveland V-8 '2V' rated 250 hp and the 'C-4' automatic transmission. The motor does not tick knock or smoke. It run's very strong and is incredibly fast! The transmission works perfect! This wagon drives and stops super nice too. It goes straight down the road, no pulling,shaking or other nonsense and the power front disc brakes haul it down effortlessly again with no issues. All four tires have over 90% tread left on them and the fronts are wearing nice and square. The interior is super nice- blue vinyl. The seats are in great original shape! Everything works: radio (original Philco A.M),heater, wipers, blinkers & hazard lamps. The previous owner replaced the rear window lift switch with a toggle switch. The tailgate window goes up and down, but the nylon drive gear on the right motor is worn. Sometimes you have to assist the motor in pushing the glass up. All the other windows roll up and down as intended. The doors all shut nice and easy, no sagging hinges. The under body is excellent, straight with no rust issues. The body is in very good condition, with a few shallow door dings, some sanding scratches and the like, it has had some rust in the tailgate the previous owner repaired, not the best block sanding job (see pics). The rear quarters are in great shape! Driver quality body/paint. These cars make great surfer wagons,Rat rods, cruisers or resto mod's or a classic you can drive every day with out the worry. And you will ruin more than one unlucky challengers day at the stop light (it's..A wagon!). And with it's back seat down you just have to see the cargo space to believe it.
