1952 Mercedes 300 Adenauer & 1957 Mercedes 300 Webasto You are bidding for (2) two Mercedes 300 Adenauer W186. The 1952; is complete and the engine turns manually. It was owned by the same owner since 1965 where it was purchased at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Manhattan in 1965. Prior to this the car was in Germany since 1952. The Adenauer is complete and needs some minor TLC, to put her back on the road. At this time we are strongly considering restoring the car, so if someone serious wants to take over the project, then it will have to go to a good home. We have 5 projects in front of this car and we are trying to find a good home instead of storing it for a few months. Documented and with so many original parts, this will be the perfect Adenauer to own. CLEAR FL TITLE. The 1957 Webasto; has a lot of potential because of the structure and condition of the underneath. You have to see the pictures to believe it. The metal underneath is so clean that you have to believe that this car was a very nice car until about 2 years ago, where the owners have decided to junk it, because they could not afford to rebuild the engine. In the process the engine was removed and the transmission as well. At the exception of the dash and the wood, the car is all there. It suffered many dents and a few fork lift holes due to the moving around of the vehicle. It has no rust, please see pictures again. The leather is in very good condition and most of the chrome is very nice. The roof is in excellent condition and it opens and closed as it should. I will include a front grill and radiator in the auction since it was missing. SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY.
