1976 Honda CR

You are bidding on an absolutely beautiful 1976 Honda CR125M Elsinore in near showroom condition. Unmolested, unrestored. This maybe the nicest 1976 out there. Tank is perfect with warning labels in tact. Seat and seat cover are original with no rips or tears. You may see a piece of Chamois cloth in between the seat and tank in the pics. That is there just to keep the seat from rubbing the paint off of the tank. It is NOT a tear in the seat as it may appear in the pic. Plastic is not repainted or faded and shines just like it was 1976. Pipe is near perfect with only minimal dents on the under side. Minimal boot wear on either side cover. Foot pegs, brake lever and shift lever are all straight. Appears to have aftermarket handlebars, grips and levers. The rear tire is not the original tire but I do believe that the front tire is the original tire. This is a very rare find as there are not many unmolested cherry 125's still floating around. Needs a clutch cable and for some reason the fork springs were taken out and need to be re-installed. I do have all of the internal fork springs and parts, they just need to be put back in. As you can tell by the pictures it looks as though this bike was ridden only minimally and then stored as a show piece the rest of its life. I just purchased this bike from the second owner who had it since 1978. All gasoline was drained and the petcock and carb were sealed off. Have not tried to start the bike and I do not intend to. This bike is just too nice of a showpiece to even think about riding around. Bike comes with the original owners manual, sales brochure and tool kit that includes a spark plug wrench and spoke wrench. I will provide a Bill of Sale to the wining bidder.
