I bought this car to use as a daily driver and tinker with as I drove it. However, as is typically the case, the unexpected happened, and we owe a much larger tax bill from our tax return than the accountant initially told us so this car has to go. 1968 Mercury Monterey. 390 v8, auto, ps, pb. Body and paint were done many years ago according to the previous owner, yet it is appears solid and rust free except for one small area in the trunk shown in the photo. Top and mechanism works well and was replaced this year according to the prior owner. Interior needs work as you can see in the photos- dash pad is not cracked or damaged. Drivers door needs a new door latch since it won't stay closed ( part provided just not installed). Just flushed and refilled all fluids and tuned it up. Starts right up and runs strong. Needs some tinkering but it is a 44 year old used car however it is a great solid car to start with. email with any questions or for more photos - these were taken today and it has been raining all day so let me know if you need something else shown.
