Thank you! 1949 CADILLAC SERIES 62 SEDAN I am pleased to offer a very nice 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan. Next to the Series Sixty Special Fleetwood this is Cadillac’s best sedan. This particular Cadillac was acquired from a Washington State Collector who bought the car from a resident of Idaho. It is fair to say that this Cadillac has always been in the wonderful Western climate. The body and paint of this Cadillac is show quality. The front bumper is original with the chrome still being bright. The grill is perfection. The rear bumper has been replated so it looks like new. There are a few dings in the side spears. Rather than trying to describe them please study the pictures. The interior is beautiful. The seats have been redone and look wonderful. The headliner is original yet still very nice. The carpet is all redone and looks excellent. What is rare about this Cadillac are the Electro-Hydraulic windows and they all work. One sun visor is wrinkled but overall the interior environment is superb. The engine compartment is clean but needs a careful detail. When you get this Cadillac call me and I will help you with the correct detail materials. Bringing a car to a higher level can be inexpensive and fun if you know how to approach it. The trunk needs a mat yet is very complete. Please notice the original center cap on the spare. That is a rare item so hold on to it. This is a Western car so you will not find any rust that will present a problem or be expensive to fix. This is a wonderful car to drive, shifting properly and the engine is so quiet it is hard to hear it run. The tires are my favorite being Goodyear Radials. They look like the original tires. This is a very nice Cadillac so do not let this slip thru your fingers. As always if you have any questions simply call or email. Thanks for looking.
