you are bidding on my 1976 chevy corvette. i am the 3rd owner. the original owner owned the car for about 20 years and kept it inside his home in a climate controlled basement!! the 1st owner then sold it to a car dealer who kept it as his personal corvette for a few years. i was the 3rd owner who bought it from the car dealer. the vette has 26,000 original miles!! i can tell you that this is a numbers matching, 100% original corvette. i bought the car in 1998. it took me 2 solid years of looking until i found a corvette that truly was original such as mine is. since i have owned the car i have sanded the underneath frame and repainted it black for a sleeker look. i also installed dual stainless steel exhaust. last year i took it down to firestone to have the oil changed. when they put it up on the racks a small crack surfaced on the back rubber bumper. i decided to have the back and front bumpers replaced and painted with new chevy fiberglass bumpers since the insurance would cover it due to firestone's mistake. if you are familiar with the original rubber bumpers you know that they warp over time. with my new fiberglass bumpers the car looks better than ever. the car is a true survivor. it also has t-tops. it has original paint, original interior, original everything. the paint does have imperfections here and there. but they are small and to be expected. these years of cars dont really warrant a $6000 paint job yet. that is why i never had it repainted. if you would want to do that it would become an instant show car i guess. this is simply put an all original, 26,000 mile, unrestored corvette in excellent to mint condition. the pictures speak for themselves. it is the 350 L-48 engine, automatic, air conditioning, t-tops, leather interior, rally wheels, dual exhaust vette. i have garaged the vette in a climate controlled garage for the 1st 10 years i owned it. it has been in my new garage at my new home on a car lift covered with 2 car covers for the last 3 years. i have only driven it probably 800 miles in the last 13 years. i live in columbus, ohio. i have and own the title so you wont have to mess around with any banks when dealing with me. i am ready to sell. any questions please contact me. i am happy to talk. i would consider a trade for an old cadillac, lincoln, etc. i am looking for a big old car in excellent condition!! trust me as i have a 100% positive feedback rating here on ebay!!!
