Thank you! 1984 PORSCHE 911 TARGA CARRERA 3.2 I am pleased to offer this beautiful Guards Red 1984 Porsche 911 Targa Carrera 3.2. I consider this Porsche to be low miles yet can be driven as a daily driver. As most of you know this Porsche is the last iteration of the original 911 series. 1984 is also the first year of the 3.2 liter engine which Porsche claimed was 80% new. Horsepower was rated at a conservative 207. Appearance wise this Targa is simply drop dead gorgeous. The Guards Red finish appears to be original with only tiny flaws such as minor stone chips. I could not find any previous accident damage. There is some slight fade to the paint on the front bumper and you will see some minor wear on the actual removable portion of the Targa roof panel. The wheels appear to be period correct 3 piece BBS light alloy or something similar. They are in excellent condition. The whale tail is obviously not original yet greatly adds to the look. Inside is entirely original. The flaws found is some warpage to the rear black vinyl covered shelf and some broken fasteners for the rear jump seats. The carpet is original and still very nice. I have provided many detailed pictures and also show what I consider as flaws or cosmetic issues. As you will see they do not hinder the effect of this car. Performance is outstanding and even the A/C works. Now even better news. This Porsche is currently under going a complete transmission refreshing. Most specifically the 1st to 2nd to 3rd gear syncros will be replaced as well as any other parts deemed necessary. Upon completion this should be one of the best performing 911’s out there.
