1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Club Cab This truck was recently involved in a "rear end" collision. The accident did not do damage to the front end of the truck and the engine, transmission, brakes, etc. are all in great working condition. It did leave the truck immobile due to the rear end damage. It dropped the drive shaft and ruined the bumper and did damage to the bed of the truck. "A LITTLE HISTORY" This truck was owned by my elderly uncle who passed away in May, 2011. He gave the truck to me in his will. He was a retired minister and he and his wife spent the Winter's in Florida as "Snow Birds" and their Summer's in Michigan. The truck shows a lot of miles... 202,210 but they were mostly all highway miles. He maintained the truck exceptionally well with regular oil changes and any other needed maintenance religiously. The Goodyear tires on the truck have less than 3000 miles on them. The truck NEVER needed any added fluids, ie. oil, transmission fluid, etc. between scheduled changes...but, as you can see, it does need some body work to get it back on the road. I didn't carry full coverage on the truck as I really hadn't planned on taking it on any road trips or driving it much but I did loan it to my daughter so she could take some items to their christian school Thrift Store for donations and she was rear ended while sitting at a red light waiting to turn left. The body of the truck is pretty average to one showing it's age. It has the usual scratches, dings and has a rust spot on the driver's side running board that could easily be repaired. The paint is original as is the gray leather interior. The seats are heated....yes they are...and it is all in good condition except there is a rip on the driver's side seam that I have pictured. Other great features: CD player, AM/FM radio, driver and passenger side air bags, automatic heated seats with lumbar massage, electric windows, electric mirrors. Three door club cab will haul 6 passengers as the console between the front seat folds up for 3 passengers in the front...and a nice cap with windows covers the bed...it was not damaged in the accident. I have decided to sell the truck "As Is" and it will have to be hauled from Jackson, Michigan. The truck has a clear title.
