1982 BMW r65 This is a very cool bike. Clean title in hand, registered in California until October. The odometer reads 32611, but the title doesn't list a reading. She needs a little tlc, but definitely a solid bike. I drove it about 30 miles the other day without any issues. Yesterday, one of the floats in the left carb started sticking, so there is that. The rear tire will need to be replaced soon, but the front tire is okay for a while. Spedometer cable is disconnected. Lights and blinkers work. Brakes are good. Inside the tank is clean. There is a dent in the tank on the front left; there is a close-up shot below. Everything is straight. I am no expert, so please ask questions; I will be happy to answer anything I can. On Aug-26-11 at 15:40:16 PDT, seller added the following information: There was a question about the float sticking on the carburetor. It is a guess that the carb is sticking (I have owned bikes off and on for years and I can tinker). It is the left carb and it is causing the carb to leak gas. It just started the day before I listed the bike. I almost didn't list the bike when it happened, so as to get it repaired; but my wife wants the bike out of here. I have sold 3 other motorcycles on ebay recently and they were all very happy with their purchases. I also have a non-running (good compression). 1964 yamaha yg1 (chrome and black) if anyone is interested.
