1974 BMW 2002 TII You will love this vintage 1974 BMW 2002 Tii, with 98,000 miles showing (Not sure this is original mileage)and records’ including the original bill of sale and Maroney label, this car is perfect for anyone looking for a reliable classic to restore. This car spent its life on the west coast (California) . There are no signs of accident history on vehicle, with that being said, car has been repainted at some point and overall looks pretty good. I have tried to take pictures of the obvious blemishes which include some chips, there are areas of rust, and I have taken the photos with arrows indicating those areas where I see rust. Spare tire area has rust and will need to be repaired. There is the usual surface stuff under the car but nothing structural. The rear shock towers appear to be fine, factory jacking points can be safely used to lift the car, please make no mistake about it this car needs to be restored to be perfect. Interior is in fine condition, the previous owner replaced the carpet and the seating material. Door panels are exceptionally clean and they are not cut for speakers. The headliner is not sagging and is clean and presentable, dash has one crack in center (see picture) . Speedometer, rpm, gas, temperature gauge, turn signals work fine, blower is inoperative. The previous owner purchased it eight years ago; He used it as a daily driver for a number of years maintaining it along the way. Here are some of the things done in the last 20,000 miles. · The engine was completely restored and only has 20k miles on it. · Brakes were replaced on all four corners less than 6 months ago. · Transmission shift fine in all gears , no crunching up or down.( 4 Speed) · The car runs good but not perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. · New Kuhmo tires 195/60/14 mounted on BMW alloy rims which are in excellent shape. · Steering is tight and feels like it should.
