MAKE ME A -FAIR OFFER- YOU MIGHT BE SUPRIZED AND I MIGHT ACCEPT IT WITH A BUY IT NOW PRICE JUST FOR YOU. AND YOU CAN OWN THIS REALLY GREAT 1966 PLYMOUTH FURY I DROP ME A EMAIL THIS IS NOT A CAR THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR $1,000 OR SO, AS NEARLY $7,000 HAS BEEN INVESTED IN THIS CAR, BUT THE RESERVE IS NOT MUCH MORE THEN THE OPENING BID. FIGURE IN THE TRANSPORT COSTS INTO WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR IT UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO PICK IT UP HERE IN EDGEWOOD NEW MEXICO IT HAS 121,786 MILES ON IT THAT IS JUST A SHADE OVER 2,500 MILES A YEAR SOME OF THE YEARS OF PLYMOUTH FURYS THAT ARE FOR SALE ON EBAY RIGHT NOW I AM SURE THAT THEY WILL BE "NICE CARS", SOMEDAY AND NICE CARS AT SOME POINT IS THE KEY WORD BUT THEY ARE PROJECT CARS, MEANING YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO SINK TON OF MONEY IN THEM BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN GET IT THEM AND DRIVE THEM SOMEWHERE, THIS CAR IS "TURN KEY" CAR YOU TURN THE KEY AND YOU GO ********** I AM MOST HAPPY TO SELL THIS CAR TO SOME ONE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY BUT ALL TRANSPORT AND SHIPPING IS YOUR RESPONCIABLITY AND NOT MINE. I WILL WORK WITH YOUR SHIPPER TO GET IT LOADED IN EDGEWOOD NEW MEXICO USA*********** THE VIN # IS PL41E6417048* the last # is intentionally left out but as the winner you will of course get it. And mileage shows 121,786 so you know it is 121,786 still not a lot of mileage way under 2,500 miles a year. INCASE YOU NEED THAT AS THE VIN BOX ON THE EBAY PAGES WONT ALLOW VINS FROM VERY OLD CARS TO BE PUT THERE THE DISCIPTIONS OF MY CARS I ADMIT ARE A LITTLE LONG WINDED BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF SHAPE THE CAR IS IN WHEN YOU BUY IT AS THESE ARE NOT NEW 2011 CARS BUT MOST ARE NEARLY 40 T0 50 YEARS OLD SO BID ACCORDINGLY AND ASK QUESTIONS I TRY TO ANS ALL QUESTIONS WITH IN 4 TO 5 HOURS MY CARS HAVE BEEN RESTORED TO MY TASTES YOURS MAY BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. The title is -in my name- and is not jumped title as so many cars being sold on eBay, meaning the title may have not been put in the currant owners name and just passed through several hands and when you bid and win the car I can scan and send you a copy of the title and a State of New Mexico Bill of Sale as well via email when you win and pay the pay pal deposit that shows it in my name . If you are the winner of the car This is the 6th car being sold from my collection it is a 1966 PLYMOUTH FURY I a 4 door sedan a great car for local car shows if you have young kids or family, you can seat belt them in if your state requires it, it has a “318” poly wedge engine solid lifters as that is what them came with back in 1966 with a 2 bl carb, the carb was completely rebuilt last fall it has a new fuel pump as well, all belts and hoses and heater hoses have been recently replaced so they are all fresh it has new plug wires and recent tune up, it has single exhuast, but in very good shape, so if you wanted to put duals on it you'd only have to do one side, when I got the car the speedometer didn’t work and I have just not gotten around to fixing it, Any thing it needs you can find on ebay. It has always been a New Mexico car, and sold new at Loyld Mekee Chrysler Plymouth in Albuqueque New Mexico, that dealer chrome plague is still on the trunk as dealers use to do back in the day, You would be the 4th owner of this car, the org owner, Mike and then me, and now You. The fuel tank should be taken off and cleaned out but works fine as is as it had sat for some yrs before my friend Mike had bought it in 2007. It has a great heater then will keep you nice and toasty in the winter. I was the one that had org found the car but just could not afford the asking price at the time. So my friend Mike bought it and owned it till 2009, I had a as nice 69 Dodge Polara at the time and we did a straight across trade, he put in about double what my reserve is in the 66 Plymouth. The tires are new radials 215 x 75 x 14 as shown in one of my photos and the spare is nearly new as well as shown in one of my photos and still has its correct org hubcaps. And it has a automatic transmission, that is just fine as well, it has power steering and standard brakes and the brakes were all done about three years ago and they are just fine. And has dealer installed in 1966 after market A/C, I did not recharge it this year as I am just not using it much this summer and it still works and will need a can of R-12 this yr I will in clued a can of new freeze 12,which is the same as R12, it can still be found but is hard to locate I still have a good supply that I keep for my own use, with the car as it has not been converted to 134, it has a after market AM/FM CASSETTE PLAYER that fits nicely in the dash where the original radio was, with a nice speakers in each front door and on the rear package tray as well that is the way I got it, when I bought the car and am leaving it just the way it is. All chrome on this car is especially nice in my opinion, and the front and rear bumpers have super nice shine to them. As I stated in the beginning of my auction, this is not a money pit project car, you can drive and enjoy as you go along, maybe wanting to make a few changes to suit your own tastes, as the car is done to my tastes yours maybe different. Some of you may wonder why the small round fan under the hood, NO it does not over heat, it is there just to help the engine cool down quicker, so when you have went to a car show on hot august day. and it just moves the heat around some when the car is just sitting parked, it is just something I do with all of my cars, it is a cheap $10.00 Walmart 12 volt fan hooked up to a on/off switch at the dash That can easily be taken off in about 3 min....... There are no cracks in the front windshield, and not any cracked side glass as many cars of this age have it has chrome window vents installed last year shown in one of my photos so you can still keep your windows cracked if your in a rain storm for fresh air. The guy that I bought the car from 3 yrs ago, had the front and rear seats and package tray done with correct seat material just the way it was in 1966 when sold new, and that cost a good bit of money for that. The head liner was not replaced as it was not coming a part or any thing like that. it has factory installed front and rear seat belts enough for 4 adults the carpet is the original and has held up well except for one small wear spots, as shown in my photos below. It has dash mat as we all know what happens to padded dashes after so many yrs in the sun But it is not to bad, we in the southwest just cover them with a nice dash mat. All chrome is bright and shinney as you can see, the previous owner did repair some rust in the lower rear quarter panels, the rust was from moisture getting inside the trunk at one time, this car has always been a dry southwest car so it is not east coast or mid west rust. It was a ammature job so it is trying to come thru a bit again. I put the fender skirts on it about 2 yrs ago, they are original steel ones I painted them with the closest white I could find in a spray can it matched up pretty close to the color of the car, the car was repainted a decade or so ago and still holds a really good shine and has always been white car. You may want to get it repainted again, for me it is fine. Pictures 1-9 are just pictures of the over all condition of the out side of the car, even though it may have been painted maybe 15 yrs ago it has been well taken care of and holds a great shine yet. Picture 9 is of some exterior surface rust on the lower pass side quarter panel, that the pervious owner repaired him self he was not a body man but just a hobbiest like me. Pictures 10 to 15 are of the New correct interior, the seats are perfect and the photo of the Dr side door panel is the good shape that all four of them are in, you can see the underdash A/C in the first photo of the interior. Picture16 is of the nearly new all 4 radial tires. Picture 17 is of the add on chrome window vents, that I put on all of my 4 dr sedans in my collection. Pictures18-20 are of the "318" poly engine, the fan you see on the fender well, is just something I do with all my cars, To help the motor cool down quicker when seting on a hot summer day say at a car show. Pictures 21 to 24 are of just the huge trunk area with a nearly new radial spare tire THIS IS A NICE TURN KEY CAR, YOU TURN THE KEY AND YOU GO, WHEN EVER I DRIVE THE CAR SOME WHERE I SPEND A LOT OF TIME TALKING TO PEOPLE AS THEY WANT TO KNOW ALL ABOUT THE CAR. MANY OF THE CARS BEING SOLD ON EBAY ARE RODE HARD AND PUT AWAY WET, AND ARE PROJECT OR MONEY PITS, THIS ONE IS NOT THIS ONE IS CAR SHOW READY FOR YOU. WITH ANY OLD CAR YOU ARE NOT BUYING A 2011 PERFECT CAR, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND, BUT THIS CAR IS A GREAT CAR IN MY OPINION NOT MUCH NEEDED CAR AND IS WHAT I CALL A “TURN KEY CAR” YOU TURN THE KEY AND YOU CAN GO. *********READ MORE FOR TERMS OF PURCHASE BELOW******** High bidder buys the car over the opening bid.
