Up for auction is my 1982 AVANTI II. I am the second owner and I have the original invoice plus owners manual and service records. All Avantis have fiberglass bodies that were made be the same company that made Corvette bodies. The car was repainted several years ago and paint is still in fine condition with no cracks or scratches. The undercarriage has no rust issues. The car has the original GM 305 V8 engine, four-speed HydraMatic automatic transmission with overdrive. power steering, power brakes with front disk brakes. The interior is all leather in excellent condition. The drivers seat does show light wear. Options include RICARO LEATHER SEATS, LEATHER INTERIOR, ELECTRIC MOONROOF, ELECTRIC WINDOWS, WOOD VENEER DASH AND CONSOL PANELS, MAG "500" WHEELS, ELECTRIC TRUNK RELEASE, WOOD STEERING WHEEL, HEADLIGHT LENS COVERS; The car runs and drives fine. I drive it regularly in nice weather. It has a new battery, new valve cover gaskets, new dual exhaust including mufflers, new master brake cylinder and power brake booster, new A/C compressor and receiver/dryer with system converted to the new R134 environmentaly friendly freon. I require $200 non-refundable deposit to be paid within 4 days of auction close by money order or PayPal, the balance in cash or certified check when the car is picked up, but no later then 2 weeks after auction ends. This car was on eBay a couple of weeks ago, but the buyer in Germany was unable to send payment. Issues: The gas guage does not work. Sometimes the tach works and sometimes it doesn't. The moonroof opens and closes electrically, but I use a little hand crank to finish closing it so it seals good.
