Up for your consideration is a great 1977 VW bus/vanagon that is a hard to find automatic walk through model. This bus is running and we drive it daily through town. Since we have owned it we have put on matching 15" tires and a new steering stabalizer. It does have some surface rust and some rust all the way through at bottom of driver door but quite a classic and very neat the way it is. We get thumbs up and lookers every where we go. The gas guage does not work. Again it is the walk through model. After market radio that works. Interior panels are mix and match-- one completely gone on sliding door. Rear seats are in great shape for age and original. Front seats are original but need re-covering. We just put seat cover on and looks fine.This would be a great project car if that is what you are looking for but it is drivable and we feel reliable to use in the meantime.Many people that we have been approached by said that they would'nt change a thing because it is such a classic daily driver.
