I am an Ivy League graduate. I am in my mid-30s. I am a serious fellow, and I've been on the national and local TV news giving unpaid and unsolicited financial market commentary; also been in major national newspapers and magazines doing the same. Most recently, I was quoted in AARP magazine. There is nothing being hidden about this truck, as so many people do. You don't get 100% positive feedback over 11 years of registration by hiding things. If there is something you should know about the truck of which I am aware, it's available to you in the auction. I go out of my way in photos of every angle in multiple lighting conditions and video to show as many details as possible, and have you rely as little as possible on my interpretation of characteristics of the truck, but instead want you to draw your own conclusions from what you see. I also go out of my way to make sure people are satisfied. I work hard to make sure I get specific positive feedback comments; I don't take it lightly, and it means a tremendous amount to me although it's been a long time since I've had something on eBay. That will keep this auction page open while you are viewing the pictures in a separate web browser window or tab: This era of Ford pickup is sometimes referred to as an F-100 or F100, however it is an F1. The truck has a very nice, heavy duty triple-pass radiator. Usually radiators in pickups are single-pass or double-pass so this one is nicer. On a different topic, please keep in mind my truck has been driven less than 2 miles in the last several years and although its major systems are basically functional, they don't perform as new. For example, you have to add brake fluid sometimes, and, as noted in the video, transmission fluid, and the gauges, signals and brake lights are inoperative, the wiper is minimal and doesn't work consistently, and the truck only has lap belts. The tires are many years old, tubeless bias-plies...they aren't modern radials and don't perform nearly as well as radials do, although bias tires are period correct. The brakes are manual drum brakes which means you have to press much harder on the pedal compared to modern disc brakes and, like all drum brakes, they don't perform as well as discs when wet from rain/puddles. It's up to you, but I would not drive the truck 1,000 miles home after winning it -- if I had to get it home from West Palm, Florida because I were the winning bidder, I would rent a truck and trailer (let's say from a rental place we all know that rhymes with "goo-haul," you're not supposed to write a brand name on eBay for something that you don't actually have up for auction). It would be much safer to trailer it, and otherwise you'd only be able to travel during the day if you actually drove the truck home because you'd have to use hand signals (and it couldn't be raining). My zip code is 33411. If you want to fly in, I can pick you up from PBI (West Palm Beach International Airport) and go to the rental super center with you so you can get a truck-trailer combination. You can also drive in with another tow vehicle, like a pickup truck or SUV, and rent just the trailer at the rental place. I can also coordinate transport for you. I know of a couple decent brokers. eBay also recommends a few transport brokers. For emphasis, please closely examine all photographs and carefully watch the whole video and read all the rules before bidding, which is a commitment to purchase the truck if you should win. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Any time you click that "Confirm Bid" button, you may very well end up winning the pickup truck, regardless of what you've bid -- there is no minimum the bid has to reach and I am also obligated to sell it no matter how low or high the bidding ends up, whether it's $20 or $1,000,000. Lastly I need 24 hours notice before you show up to get the truck. It is in my personal, climate-controlled, secured garage. No one can gain access it to it without me or one of my family members granting access to whoever will be picking it up, whether you or a transport company driver.
